正如菠菜评级的使命宣言所示, “菠菜评级最关心的是学生在精神意识基础上的智力成长.”
菠菜评级对校园事工的愿景是基于天主教青年事工的三重框架，这是由天主教主教全国会议(更新愿景)定义的, 1997): to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person; to draw young men to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community; to empower young men to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
